This year, SIP has partnered with the Saskatchewan Professional Fire Fighters and Paramedics Burn Fund. In October 2025, our annual CAA Insurance Awareness Campaign supported this charity, with related posts shared on our social media. Volunteers also joined us at our Trivia Night in February, and we look forward to what the rest of the year will bring.
About Saskatchewan Professional Fire Fighters and Paramedics Burn Fund
Established in 1975, the Saskatchewan Professional Fire Fighters and Paramedics Burn Fund is a volunteer-run organization that has raised over $7 million to support burn care and prevention across the province. It has funded key healthcare facilities, including burn units and specialized treatment centers, while also supporting programs like Children’s Burn Camp and public fire safety initiatives.
The organization provides comprehensive support to burn survivors—physically, emotionally, and psychologically—and invests in the ongoing education and development of healthcare professionals involved in burn treatment. Overall, the Burn Fund plays a vital role in advancing care, promoting prevention, and supporting recovery in Saskatchewan.

In 2024 and 2025, SIP partnered with Prairie Hospice Society. Volunteers participated in our Fun Night at the Prairie Roots CAIW National Convention in June, hosting a photo booth, and the partnership concluded with a year-end donation of $1,000 at our annual AGM.

SIP partnered with Saskatchewan Food Banks throughout 2022 and 2023. Members volunteered in the Saskatoon Food Bank garden during the summer, donated multiple food boxes at the annual AGM, and closed the year with a $1,200 contribution to the charity.
